Shops at Traders Village is a Saturday marketplace situated next door to the Boathouse Beer Garden. Throughout the Summer months, they're open Saturdays from 10am-4:30pm. Their official 2017 calendar is May 27 through Sept. 2. With 16,000 square feet of space, small business vendors and local produce farmers gather to create a fantastic shopping experience. With products ranging from home decor, jewelry, vintage antiques, and other artisan creations, you'll find what you need at this great establishment. Don't worry about food either, with pizza and drinks on site along with Boathouse Beer Garden next door, you won't go hungry or thirsty while browsing one-of-a-kind finds.
At this site, we have been in business since 1998 when our father, Joe Arena, had a vision for a Saturday market bustling with produce vendors and shops galore. Over the years, we have done just that, as well as selling Amish crafted furniture, sheds, and hosting events and festivals. The business has remained in the family ever since with several of the grown children bringing their individual flair and personality to it over the past 19 years. Currently, Peter is established in the world of craft beer with the Boathouse Beer Garden while his brother John is overseeing the Saturday Farm and Craft Market along with special events. And if you happen upon the stride of a wonderfully feisty white-haired woman by the name of Rae, be sure to tell her what a great job her "boys" are doing.
